Although this was the first week of the summer term, there is no time to rest when it comes to the progress of Untangling the Knot. It has been my privilege to step in to assume the role of project manager as Kate Marshall finished the program and completed her time at PSU, and this transition has been quick, as it has occurred during a period of significant activity for the project.

First of all, let me catch you up on all that has happened since the last post. Ooligan Press has selected a cover for the anthology, the tipsheet has been completed, and the project team has created a strong marketing plan that needs only a few adjustments. The cover is an excellent match for the book, and I hope to share it with you soon, once it has gone through its final design stage. This past week, the last round of copyedits were submitted to the authors, and once they are all approved and returned, they will be compiled into the final manuscript.

The end of June marks an important milestone for Untangling the Knot; the sales data for the anthology will be submitted to Ingram Publisher Services, Ooligan’s distributor. This process marks the book’s first introduction to the world beyond Ooligan, Carter, and the contributors. We have also set a publication date: on February 28, 2015, Untangling the Knot: Marriage, Relationships & Identity will be released. Although that may seem distant, I have no doubt that the next eight months will fly by in a whirlwind of activity and deadlines.

This summer promises to be one full of quick progress for the anthology. Stay tuned for more updates!
